Talkmobile Refer a Friend Terms and Conditions (on or after 17th May 2024) (2024)

In these Terms and Conditions “You” means the “Referrer” or Talkmobile customer who shares a Refer a Friend link with your friend and “Your Friend” means the “Referee” or person who receives the Refer a Friend link from the Referrer.

The Offer

1. The Refer a Friend (“RaF”) Offer is provided by Talkmobile (company number 04154716), The Connection, Newbury, Berkshire RG14 2FN ( “We” or “Us”)).

Eligibilty

2. Both You and Your Friend must be UK residents and aged 18 years and above.

3. You must be an existing Talkmobile customer.

4. Your Friend has not been referred under these Terms and Conditions by You previously.

5. No third-party (including by use of an automated service) or bulk entries are allowed.

How does the referral process work?

6. To refer Your Friend, You must:

a) access Your unique RaF link from Your online Talkmobile account;

b) share the RaF link with Your Friend;

Your Friend must:

c) Click on the RaF link received from You to sign up to a 12 months or 30 day plan from Us (“Qualifying Plan”) directly on the Talkmobile website.

d) Use an email address that is different from yours to sign up to Talkmobile;

When Your Friend has completed step (c and d) above, You will receive an email from Us notifying You that Your Friend has joined. In order for the referral to be successful:

e) both You and Your Friend must remain Talkmobile customers for at least two months and each make two consecutive monthly payments following the date Your Friend purchased of a Qualifying Plan;

f) both You and Your Friend’s customer accounts must remain in credit at all times during the referral process set out in this section 5; and

g) any customer plans that are returned or disconnected for any reason will be rejected for the purposes of the Offer.

The Reward

7. If the referral process set out in section 6 above is successful, both You and Your Friend will receive an invitation to claim an Amazon gift card each (the “Reward”). The invitations will be sent by email to Your and Your Friend’s registered Talkmobile email addresses. Both you and your friend have 90 days to claim your Reward. The value of the Reward depends on which Qualifying Plan Your Friend has purchased. Example details of the available Rewards is set out in the table below:

8. The Reward carries no cash value, is non-transferable and may not be substituted by the recipients. We reserve the right to substitute any Reward for an alternative of similar value.

General

9. We reserve the right to verify the eligibility of entries. We may require such information as we consider reasonably necessary to verify the eligibility of an entry. The Reward may be withheld until we are satisfied with the verification. We reserve the right not to give a Reward for a successful referral if we believe that the referral is not legitimate, including but not limited to users referring themselves, multiple user referrals, returned orders, cancellations and orders placed under a minimum spend.

10. These terms are specific to the Offer and are in addition to the standard terms of service for the Qualifying Plan. The applicable standard terms can be viewed here: https://talkmobile.co.uk/tsandcs-landing.

11. The Reward is non-transferable, non-exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash.

12. The Reward should be treated like cash and be kept securely. The Reward cannot be replaced if lost or stolen. We are not responsible if a Reward is lost, stolen, destroyed or used without permission.

13. There is no cash alternative to the Reward.

14. The Offer may be withdrawn or amended at any time.

15. The Offer cannot be combined with any other voucher, offer, discount or promotion code. If the Reward is used alongside any other reward, offer or discount you will not be eligible for the Reward.

17. Amazon.co.uk are not sponsors of the Offer.

19. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by English law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
