Zie jij het wel zitten om in Jumbo’s grootste gemechaniseerde distributiecentrum in het hart van Nederland te werken? Met maar liefst 85.000 m2 aan techniek, logistiek en data is het een unieke werkplek en misschien wel jouw nieuwe werkplek! Het distributiecentrum van Jumbo in Nieuwegein is namelijk bezig met uitbreiding en voor de uitvoerende opdrachtgever Witron zijn we op zoek naar Equipment Operators.
Door alle geavanceerde machines lijkt de klus zo geklaard, maar vergis je niet. Deze machines moeten continu worden aangestuurd door jou en je collega’s. In dit hypermoderne distributiecentrum werken minder mensen dan in een gewoon distributiecentrum. Jouw impact op het proces is dus veel groter. AlsEquipment Operatorbedien je de machines en logistieke systemen. Je corrigeert kleine storingen en voert kwaliteitscontroles uit. Maar je bent vooral bezig met het monitoren van het productieproces en stuurt bij waar nodig. Veiligheid en stiptheid zijn in deze functie erg belangrijk. De opdrachtgever vindt het daarnaast fijn als je actief meedenkt aan de continue verbeterslag.

The Jumbo distribution center in Nieuwegein is expanding and we are looking for Equipment Operators.
All the advanced machines automate the job, but they also make mistakes. That's why machines must be continuously monitored by you and your colleagues. Fewer people work in this ultra-modern distribution center compared to a normal distribution center, which means your impact on the process is much greater. As an Equipment Operator, you operate the machines and logistics systems. You correct minor malfunctions and conduct quality checks, but your main responsibility is monitoring the production process and making adjustments as necessary. Safety and punctuality are paramount in this position. The client also appreciates your active participation in continuous improvement efforts.

- Bereidheid om in een 4-ploegensysteem te werken
- Beheers je de Engelse taal op B1 niveau (communicatie verloopt in het Engels)
- Je hebt geen hoogtevrees en bent niet kleurenblind
- Je beschikt over eigen vervoer
- Je vindt het niet erg om in een gekoelde omgeving te werken (+2 tot +4 graden Celsius)
- Je bent oplossingsgericht, proactief en hebt een groot verantwoordelijkheidsgevoel

Je start in DC JUMBO DRY: het reeds opererende distributiecentrum. Voor de 38-urige werkweek ontvang je een mooi salaris € 17,76 – € 18,58 bruto per uur (inclusief 29% ploegentoeslag) afhankelijk van ervaring. Na de inwerkperiode en als je er klaar voor bent, word je overgeplaatst naar het nieuwe DC JUMBO FRESH. Hier hebben ze een werkweek van 35 uur en je salaris bedraagt € 18,92 per uur (inclusief 24% ploegentoeslag en een koudetoeslag van € 0,29 cent per uur).

You start in DC JUMBO DRY: the already operating distribution center. For the 38-hour working week you will receive a nice salary €17,76 - € 18,58 brutto per hour (which includes a 29% shift allowance). After the training period and if ready you will be transferred to the new DC JUMBO FRESH. Here they have a working week of 35 hours and your salary is € 18,92 per hour ( included 24% of shift allowance and a cold allowance of €0,29 cents per hour). What makes this vacancy unique? Our client is looking for new colleagues for the long term. Therefore, with successful collaboration, you have the opportunity for permanent employment after 8 months.
